Generation Y – why can’t company seem to get it and how they could take advantage of it

I regularly have conversations about how difficult it is for companies to work with « the new generation ».  Most managers consider them too casual, self centric, non-involved and hard to manage.

They are challenging our organisations but can bring a lot to them.  This new generation is clearly a potential source of innovation… provided we can pay a little attention to them and consider alternative ways of managing them.
